Mr. Cecil Thomas Garner, age 77, of Palmersville, TN passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Garner was born on June 13, 1941 to the late Earl B. and Lula Estell Sutherland Garner in Weakley County, TN. He was the owner/operator of the former The Store in Palmersville, TN, he was a dairy farmer and also a school bus driver for Weakley County, then retiring from Driftwood Fiber Optics Company as an equipment operator.

He is survived by two daughters; Kim (Larry) Brown of Cottage Grove, TN and Natasha (William) Mellon of Puryear, TN, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four sisters; Becky (Phillip) Wilson of Sidonia, TN, Debbie (Jere) Cook of Martin, TN, Linda (Jerry) Meyers of Ripley, TN, Lois Barner of Martin, TN, a brother George Earl (Pat) Garner of Kenton, TN and a family friend Maryann Pinkham of Palmersville, TN.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Jean Grubbs Garner, a daughter Tami Oliver, a son Shane Garner and a sister Betty Parrish.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30PM Wednesday in the Palmersville Cemetery with Gary Collier officiating.

Visitation will be held at the Jackson Funeral Home from 1PM Wednesday until time to
leave for the cemetery.
