Marguerite Barbeau,
Pioneer, Dead at 89

Mrs. Marguerite Barbeau, 89, of 3818 Burt street, widow of Thomas G., prominent in the early building of Omaha, died at a local hospital yesterday of complications from a broken hip suffered several months ago. Known for her charitable work, she had aided many times in the building of St. Cecilia's cathedral. She was a sister of the late Mrs. E. W. Nash. Surviving is a sister Mrs. Adeline B. Woodard, Omaha. Services will be held from the residence at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday to St. Cecilia's cathedral at 10 with burial in Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
