August 5, 1955 in Mobile Alabama god blessed Velma Lee Province-Wortham and Jesse Lee Wortham with a beautiful little girl and named her Wanda Inez Wortham.
Wanda was the sixth of eleven children.
She loved life with her family and friends. Whether it was swimming, BBQing, or teaching everyone about the lord.
Wanda's father traveled for his job as a salesman, so she attended schools all over.
In 1983 Wanda married the love of her life Jimmie William Tanton.
Wanda was proceeded in death by her parents Velma and Jesse Wortham. Daughter: Kelly Tanton, Brothers: Bobby Joe Wortham, Ricky Wortham, Allen Wortham, Sisters: Anita Wortham, Tina May-Wortham.
The sweet memories of Wanda will be forever cherished by her husband: Jimmie Tanton and children Wayne Wortham, Terry Brown-Worrell, Stacy brown, and Kevin Tanton; Sister and brothers: Dorothy Vaugn, Martha Box, Velma Stevens, Ronnie Wortham, Jessie Wortham.
