Sandra (Seymour) Hubbard, 77 of Vernon, beloved wife of Robert H. Hubbard III, passed away at the home of her sister in Storrs surrounded by loved ones.
Sandra was born in Albany, NY on March 25, 1939, daughter of the late Clayton and Jean (Shamback) Seymour and had been a resident of Vernon since 1977.
Prior to retiring as cafeteria manager, she worked for the Vernon Board of Education, at Lake Street School for 8 years.
Sandra was a longtime active member of The Salvation Army, Manchester and during the summers, managed and operated the kitchen at the Salvation Army Camp Connri in Ashford.
She enjoyed her times going on day trips with her sister and friends, working on crafts, baking, playing bingo, and before she became ill, bowling.

In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by a son, Robert H. Hubbard IV of Vernon, a daughter, Christine McCarthy and her husband, Thomas of Vernon, a grandson, Robert H. Hubbard V, and a sister, Rita Hadden of Storrs.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Marilyn Stanford.

A graveside funeral service was held at East Cemetery, Manchester.
Calling hours were held at Holmes Funeral Home, Manchester.
