Joanna Marie (Kaczenski) Johnson passed away Aug. 8, 2015, in Milwaukie. She was born Nov. 9, 1945, in Lebanon to Henry and M. Lillian Kaczenski.
Joanna graduated from Clackamas High School in 1963 and married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Jan David Johnson, Nov. 16, 1963. Shortly thereafter, Jan and Joanna began the business Clackamas Steel & Mfg., which continues to be managed by their daughter, Stephanie. She enjoyed quilting, reading, watching movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine and husband, Scott Lease; daughter, Stephanie Johnson and wife, Casey Duncan-Johnson ; and grandchildren, Tiffani Young, Nicholas Lease, Amy Lease, Madeline Lease, Andrew Johnson, Kelton Duncan and Kaylen Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Michael David Johnson.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Cornerstone Funeral Services, 18625 S.E. Bakers Ferry Road, Boring. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Milwaukie Lutheran Church, 3810 S.E. Lake Road, Milwaukie. Interment will be in Riverview Abbey following the service.
