STEPHEN JAY HICKS, 56, Huntington, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Charlotte Jenkins. Burial will be in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, W.Va. He was born April 19, 1962, in South Point, Ohio, a son of Merle and Janet Louis McCoy Hicks of South Point, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Z. Hicks. He is survived by his wife, Mary Bolen Hicks; children, Erica Davis, Tamra Davis and Barrett Bolen; sister and brother-in-law, Sherryl and Kenneth Lambert of Coal Grove, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law, Merle and Irma Jean Hicks of Hillsboro, Ohio, and James and Rebecca Hicks of South Point, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
