DICKERSON Irene J. August 6, 1953 June 7, 2019 Irene J. Dickerson, 65, went to eternal rest at 7:08 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2019, at her home in Roanoke, Va., surrounded by her family. She was employed at Brandon Oaks Nursing Home as the Dining Room Supervisor for over 10 years before retiring due to her illness. Irene was preceded in death by her grandmother, Estelle Muse Carter; brother and sister-in-law, John and Janice Jordan. Those left to cherish her memory are her partner, Kevin Richardson; son, James L. (Tonya) Jordan Jr.; daughter, Stephanie (Derrail Sr.) Reynolds; grandchildren, Jeremy Jordan, Derrail Reynolds Jr., Cameron Reynolds, Christopher Jordan, and Lauren Jordan; her loving mother, Gearldine Jordan; brothers and sisters, Howard Dickerson, Linda Jordan, Lorraine Jordan, Roy Jordan, and Mary Ann Jordan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Irene's Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Elder Greg Hash officiating. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park.
