Frances Naomi Hooper, Collins, Knight, 86, was born on November 14, 1932, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Sadie and Cliff Hooper. She passed away June 4th, 2019 in Boynton Beach Florida with her daughter at her side, from a long hard battle with COPD. Frances was a retired postal worker from Spring Texas and lived most of her life in Conroe, Texas. She later moved to Trinity, Texas, where she volunteered at the nursing home for over 10 years. She was a wonderful caregiver to her mother for over 30 years, her husband Milton for 42 years and her second love Tom, for over 17 years. Her greatest gift was her ability to nurture, love and comfort her family. She loved to travel, with Wyoming being her favorite place to go in the summer with Tom. In her last days she enjoyed sitting outside, drinking a nice glass of wine and watching the many variety of birds and ducks that frequented the yard. She loved her family deeply and found great peace in knowing that they were well and happy. She is survived by her only daughter, Cathy, and her husband Paul Marx of Boynton Beach, Florida. A special close niece Beverly, who she loved like her own child, and her husband Ray Hyden of Conroe Texas. Two granddaughters Shannon Legg, and Mike Kelle of Boynton Beach Florida, and Hollie and Ed Moore of Quincy Illinois. Seven great grandchildren, Peyton Legg, Bailey Schulze, Rylie Kenning, Evan Kenning, Braxton Kenning, Anna Moore, and Evan Moore, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She will be loved and remembered by her family, many friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. There will be a graveside service at Garden Park Cemetery, in Conroe, Texas on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at 2:00pm with visitation at 1:00pm prior to service at Cashner Funeral Home.
