She was the daughter of the late Paul and Marietta Fagan. She had lived in Southbury and Pinehurst, NC, and had graduated Meriden High School and St. Joseph College in West Hartford. She worked at Danbury High School as a teacher. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, John Arnold of CA., David Arnold and his wife Robbi of Oxford, James J. Arnold and Thomas Arnold and his wife Yvonne; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Paul Fagan. She was predeceased by a son, Steve Arnold.
