Janet Lee Curtis was born September 5, 1955 in Stayton, Oregon, to Gene and Patricia (Wright) McClellan. She died in Dallas, Oregon on May 13, 2019.
Janet grew up in the Mill City area where she graduated from high school. She met Joe Curtis in Mill City, and although each would claim the other was the one smitten, they both knew they were meant to be together. Janet and Joe were married on October 26, 1973 in Mill City, Oregon. They raised 3 children, Jodi, Joe and Jeremy. Later divorced.
Janet spent her life living in different places throughout the Willamette Valley and Santiam Canyon. Janet loved animals, music, her coco-cola and red vines.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her son Joe, and her sisters Debbie and Donna. Janet will be greatly missed by her children Jodi (Paul) Leimbach and Jeremy Curtis, her grandchildren Jonathan, Jenna, Jordan, Jessica and Hayden and many Aunts, Cousins and Uncle.
