Larry Mann age 73, of Portland passed away Saturday June 8, 2019 in IU Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born in Adams County September 22, 1945 the son of Wilford “Bill” and Clara Naomi (Manning) Mann. He retired in 2005 from the United States Postal Service. He was a US Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post #211 serving on the Honor Guard and as Past Commander. He was a member of Portland Eagles Lodge, played for Portland Rockets Baseball, was an avid Los Angeles Dodger's fan and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are two sons Shane Mann (wife Stephanie) of Portland and Cory Mann of St. Petersburg, FL. Three grandchildren Austin Mann, Gabbie Mann and Griffin Mann. He was preceded in death by two brothers Roger Mann and DeWayne Mann.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Borders presiding. Burial will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva with military rites by American Legion Post #211. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Memorials can be made to American Legion Post #211 or Portland Rockets Baseball.
