Lillie Bell Lynch, age 99 of Madison, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019. She lived most of her life in Winder and was a member of The Winder Church of God. She loved flowers and was an avid gardener, she loved having a big vegetable garden every year. She loved music and loved to sing. Lillie was a seamstress and worked many years for Barrow Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Pearl Addington Shedd; her husband of 66 years, C. B. Lynch; two daughters, Sara Bargie and infant Carrie Jeanette Lynch; two brothers, Clarence and James Shedd and three sisters, Mae Jones, Leona Wallace and Betty King. Lillie is survived by four daughters, Mary Hardin of Macon, Marti Smith (Jerry) of Navarre Beach, FL, Jane Matthews of Madison and Lucy Smith (Ken) of Warner Robbins; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2PM Tuesday June 11, 2019 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA with Pastor Steve Sawyer officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gradens.
