Wilson L. Miller

Wilson L. Miller, 78, of 2100 Leonard St., who was a retired assembler, died Sunday evening at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Donald L. and Edna Sterner, 115 Sunset Drive, Hanover. He was the husband of the late Edith (Mosebrook) Miller.
The service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church, near Hanover Junction. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and 1:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Mr. Miller was born in Loganville, the son of the late B. Michael and Maggie (Stine) Miller.
He was retired in 1974 from Teledyne Readco after 20 years of employment.
He was a member of Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher for many years and served on the church council as its recording secretary and was active in other church activities. He was a member of York County Sunday School Association, the Asbury Fellowship and Thomasville Senior Center. He was formerly of the Hanover Junction area.
Mr. Miller is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. William W. Greason, Camarillo, Calif., and Mrs. Larry E. Ruppert, Thomasville RD 1; two sons, David L. Miller, Woxall, and Charles M. Miller, Seven Valleys RD 2; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ida Smeltzer, Loganville, Celesta Reever, Seven Valleys RD 2, and Nellie Mummert, Glen Rock RD 1; and a twin brother, Wilmer M. Miller, Spring Grove RD 1.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Clarence C. Moore.
