Dick Davis, passed away after a long illness.

Dick was born and raised on the family ranch on Mt. View in Selma, California. He loved Selma and enjoyed going to all his class reunions.

After high school, class of 1941, he joined. the U.S. Army Air Force.

After World War II he came back to Selma and worked in an auto supply store until he opened his own business, Triple Auto Supply.

He was a volunteer fireman for years and served also as Fire Chief, a member and past president of the Selma Lions Club, and a member of the American Legion.

The family is very grateful to Optimal Hospice for their wonderful care.

He is survived by Lynn, his wife of 56 years; brother, Howard Davis of San Bernardino, California; daughter, Leslie Crandell and her husband Rex; granddaughter Ariel of Concord, California; son; Michael Davis and wife Barbara, and grandson Conner of San Rafael, California.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Selma United Methodist Church, 1702 Cross St., Selma on Thursday, June 28, 2007, at 10:30 a.m.

Remembrances may be made to Optimal Hospice, 6770 N. West Ave., Ste. 105, Fresno, CA 93711 or to the American Cancer Society.
