Vivian Marie Guthrie, 86, Pittsboro, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at the Witham Memorial Hospital emergency room, Lebanon.
She was born in Washington County near Campbellsburg on March 23, 1921, to the late Claude and Mary Blanche (Bennett) Green. She married Marion Franklin "Frank" Guthrie on Dec. 24, 1941. He is deceased.
Survivors include son, Donald Keith (Marsha) Guthrie, Campbellsburg; daughters, Becky S. (Ronald) Gibbons, Pittsboro, and Betty Lou (Ronald) Artman, Mitchell; brother, Donald (Mary Ellen) Green, Salem; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her sons, Ronald Kent and Michael Lee Guthrie; brother, Ervin Green; and sister, Mary Frances Nicholson; are deceased.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, and at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cave Town Methodist Church, near Campbellsburg. Funeral services are at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel, and at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Danny Walker officiating.
Interment will follow at Cave Town Cemetery next to the church.
Memorials may be given to Lebanon Boys and Girls Club, 403 W. Main St., Lebanon, IN 46052 or Milledgeville United Methodist Church, 4500S 150W, Lebanon.
