The deceased was a native of this city, having been born in the village of Oswego Falls on July 14, 1851. He was as son of Gilbert Worden and Louisa Chubb Guile, early settlers of this vicinity. When a young man he entered the employ of the American Woolen Company and remained with the company for nearly 50 years, retiring several years ago. Mr. Guile's death followed an illness of only a day, he having suffered a stroke Sunday noon. His son, Dr. Russell Guile of Canton, died last summer.
