Bobbie White, age 81 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 11th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 10th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 11th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. White was born August 9, 1937 in Sumner County to the late George Watson and Minnie Finn Watson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her partner of 40 years, Joe Brooks; son, Sterling White; brother, Robert Watson; and sisters, Betty Burrow and Gloria Watson. She is survived by children, Mike White (Debbie) of Gallatin, Tommy White of Gallatin, Judy White of Gallatin, Roger White (Treasa) of Scottsville, KY, and Tony White (Suzie) of Scottsville, KY; brother, Eugene “Bud” Watson (Linda) of Gallatin; sister, Mary Adcock of Westmoreland; sister-in-law, Brenda Watson of Gallatin; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. White retired from Gary Company/Highland Apparel Shirt Factory after over 30 years of service. In addition, she worked for Morningside Assisted Living for 9 years.
