Floyd was born October 19, 1927 to Eddy and Pearl Woods in Saylorville, IA. He worked at GW Onthank Co. in the warehouse for 31 years. He was devoted to his family and was an avid NY Yankee, Iowa Hawkeye and Green Bay Packer fan. He will be deeply missed.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Mardell, of 65 years; his daughters Vickie (Bruce) Gowen, Drenna (Jeff) Wiles and Kelly (Dave) Van Gorp; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Valley View Employee Assistance Fund.
A small reception and time for visiting will follow the service, Private graveside services will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery
