JULY 19, 1924 ~ JUNE 8, 2019 (AGE 94)

Raymond Edward Patterson, 94 of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord, Saturday June 8, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Patterson was born in Chattanooga on July 19, 1924 a son of the late Rufus and Bessie Harmon Patterson. He had lived in Douglasville Ga, before returning to Ringgold. Raymond served his country with honor in the Army Air Force during WW II, where he flew 35 missions in Europe on the B-17. He retired from Outdoor Advertising after many years of service. Mr. Patterson loved Brainerd Baptist Church where he was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class. He especially loved to hear the late Jerry Adams teach. Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Patterson and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors are his loving wife of 16 years Ann Talkington Patterson; stepson, Pat Patterson, and daughter in law, Patricia Patterson, of East Brainerd; brother, Paul Patterson of Hixson and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ray Meadows officiating. Interment in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9-11 am Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
