He was born in Amsterdam on January 29, 1959 and is the son of the late Rudolph and Elsin (Struensee) Ott.
Tom was a 1977 graduate of the former Perth Central School and attended Fulton Montgomery Community College.
Most recently, he served as a Maintenance Supervisor for Pioneer Frozen Foods in South Carolina.
He was an avid outdoors man enjoying boating fishing and, especially, family times at the Sacandaga Lake.
Tom is survived by his wife Mary (Antis) Ott of Amsterdam, a daughter Megan (Quentin) Hallenbeck of Amsterdam, a step son Austin Antis of Gloversville, and his granddaughter Maci Hallenbeck, a sister Claudia (Joseph) Somers of Amsterdam and a brother Timothy (Linda) Ott of Amsterdam. He is also survived by his Aunt, Marylou Ott of Amsterdam and several, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
