Evelyn D. Scott, age 81, of Kiel, died Monday morning, June 20, 2011 at Willowpark Residence, New Holstein where she resided since October 2010.
She was the former Evelyn Belott, born November 11, 1929 in Antigo, daughter of the late August & Julia (Pankow) Belott.
Evelyn was a 1947 graduate of Antigo High School.
On July 17, 1953 she married Richard Scott at St. John's Catholic Church in Antigo.
The couple owned and operated Dick's Red Owl in Kiel from 1967-1992.
Evelyn was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, crafts and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Richard, Kiel, four children: Jim Scott, Kiel, Terrie (Jeff) Hinz, Nashotah, WI, Daniel (Marcia) Scott, rural Kiel, Kathy (Joe) Wasmer, New Holstein and nine grandchildren: Brian Scott, Jessica (Tyler) Sigl, Matthew Scott, Kelly (Ryan) Fitzsimmons, Ryan (Katie) Hinz, Deja (Dan) Shemon, Kayla Scott, Jason & Steven Wasmer. She is further survived by three great grandchildren: Payton & Ava Wasmer, Tristan Shemon, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law; Rodger (Norma) Scott, Dwayne (Mary Ann) Scott, Lyle (Gail) Scott, Garry (Nancy) Scott, Ronald (Margaret) Scott, Mary Scott, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sandy Scott, granddaughter, Tanya Scott, five brothers, one sister and two brothers-in-law.
The funeral Mass for Evelyn will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Friday, June 24, 2011 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 413 Fremont St., Kiel with Rev. Loren Nys S.D.S. Officiating.
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
