Randall L. Koch passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019, at his home in Cozad at the age of 65. Randy was born February 21, 1954, in Cozad, Nebraska to Rodney and Wanda (Hess) Koch. He graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1972 and attended Kearney State College. Randy obtained his Masters Degree in Industrial Technology. He taught in Eustis before doing some carpentry work through, Randall L. Koch construction for seven years. Randy went back to teaching at Cozad until his retirement in 2015. Randy met and married Pam Saum while teaching in Eustis. To this union, three children were born, Jeremy, Jennifer, and Jacqui. Randy taught Drivers Ed, coached middle school football and kept book for varsity football and basketball. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was a devoted Husker and Cozad Haymaker fan. Randy loved traveling and taking trips with his family and time at their cabin at Plum Creek Canyon. Survivors include his wife Pam; children, Jeremy (Bailey) Koch of Cozad, Jennifer (Jim) Louthan of Lincoln and Jacqui (Austin) Hendrickson of Riverdale; grandchildren, Hudson and Asher Koch of Cozad; step grandchildren, Joslyn Outz of Lincoln and Taylor and Mason Louthan of Lincoln; parents, Rodney and Wanda Koch of Cozad; brothers, Ronald (Carol) of Minden, Russell (Quenna) of Fremont and Robbie (Karen) of Seward; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church with Pastor Steve Berke officiating. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
