June J. Gilmour, age 70, died in her home Fri., Oct. 1, 1999, with family by her side after a courageous battle. June was born Oct. 13, 1928, in Edgerton. She was employed by Freeman Shoe for five years, then chose to stay at home on their farm and devote her life to her family.
Survivors include her husband, Allen; 3 sons: Wayne (Joyce) Gilmour of Brooklyn, WI, Arthur (Theresa) Gilmour of Orfordville, and Roy (Kim) Gilmour of Milton; a daughter, Karen (Clarence) Peters of Oregon, WI; 7 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Don (Pat) Cole of Leesburg VA. She was predeceased by her father, Henry Jacobson, her mother, Helen Barson Cole; step-father, Floyd Cole; a son, Steven Gilmour; and 2 sisters, Bev Sweger and Delores Cisewski.
