Karen Denise Galloway Webb was born December 4, 1954 to Beatrice Galloway and the late Robert L. Galloway in Kingsport, TN.
Karen loved LIFE and enjoyed holidays and cookouts with her family, special Saturday adventures with her mother, and she especially loved family trips to the beach. Her outlook was positive, open, and curious - she loved the out of doors, she never stopped looking for the beauty in Nature and sharing it with others. A graduate of Ketron High School and lifelong resident of Kingsport, she was employed by TeleTech since 2017 and for many years at several local Exxon, Aztex and Texaco locations - in various roles including manager and bookkeeper - where she was beloved by her customers and coworkers.
Visited and attended by many family members during her last hours, Karen passed peacefully June 5, 2019 after a brief illness.
Karen is survived by her husband Michael "Duck" Webb; her mother Beatrice M. Galloway; her daughter Amy Falin and husband Scott; her son Joshua Horne and wife Desirae; brother Bobby and wife Teresa Galloway; her brother Joel and wife Kathy Galloway; and three grandsons: Soloman and Connor Falin and Elijah Horne, as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles including special uncle Larry Morelock and Jerri. She had many special friends and colleagues who will miss her fun outlook and her laughter.
The family is grateful to Joshua Horne, Scott Falin, Soloman Falin, Connor Falin, Jack Chapman and Brian Hulse for serving as Pall Bearers as well as Landon Coates and Elijah Horne, Honorary Pall Bearers.
The family will receive friends at East Lawn Funeral Home Monday June 10, 2019 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of David at 1:00pm with Tyler McMullins officiating.
