Marian F. Hunter, 89, of rural Akron, Indiana passed at 2:55 pm, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on Oct. 19, 1929 in Alderson, Oklahoma to Joe and Elsie (Oglesby) Musial.

She married on Sept. 11, 1949 in Akron, Indiana to Howard Hunter, who preceded her on January 20, 2016.

Marian was a homemaker and was known as a cake maker. She drove a school bus for Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation for over 30 years.

She was a 1947 graduate of Akron High School. She attended the Akron Church of God for over 62 years. She was active in the church teaching Sunday School for over 60 years. She was a member of the D.A.R. and was a documented Descendant of Abraham Clark, she was his 4th Great Granddaughter, who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Marian always enjoyed quilting, sewing, and visiting with friends and family.

9 Great Grandchildren – Kayla, Maddie, Jace, Rily, Breanna, Macey, Sadie,
Hunter, and Skylar
