Walter Grant Fields, age 86 of Marietta, passed away May 30, 2019. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from Eastern Airlines as a Captain on the B-757 after 27 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Fields; children Pamela Lappies and her husband Phil, Tracy Hohman and her husband John, and Reid Fields and his wife Daphne; grandchildren Megan Lappies and Grant Hohman; brothers Ray Fields, Truman Fields, and Dennis Fields; sister Cheryl Metz; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment followed in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
