Born in Byron to the late Arthur and Thelma Walton Jordan, Mr. Jordan served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a painter and long time member of Mabel White Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Clara Hunnicutt Jordan; his children, Angela Ballard Jordan of Byron and Tony Jordan (Ruth) of Warner Robins; stepchildren, James Yaughn Jr. (Annie) of Centerville and Katrina Bean (Charles) of Byron; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Jim Jordan of Warner Robins; sister, Lorene Turner of Warner Robins; brother in law, Richard Hunnicutt of Byron; sister in law, Ann Hobbs (Jerry) of Macon; several nieces and nephews; and adopted children, Sally and Jimmy Gassett of Warner Robins.
