He was of the Baptist faith, he loved to sing, play and write gospel music. He proudly served his country for six years, in the National Guard and U. S. Army. He was attached to National Guard Unit Pensacola, Florida, 1st Special Forces Green Beret Unit Okinawa and 1st Calvary Division Fort Hood, Texas.
He is survived by a brother Bobby (Sandra) Holland and sister Karen Archer. His Four children, two daughters Angela DeVoss and Janelle Holland, two sons MSgt. Larry “Nik” (Carrie) Holland, Jr., Ret USAF and Rusty (Natalie) Holland. Ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jewel and Ruby Holland.
