Hastings resident Roger L. Fox, 62, went to be with the Lord Jesus in Heaven on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his son's home in Omaha, NE.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, at Berean Bible Church in Hastings with Pastor Matthew Brooks officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings.
Roger was born on December 22, 1956, in Hastings, NE to Orval and Irene (Pittz) Fox. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1975, and later from Hastings College in 1981. On May 14, 1983, Roger married Robin Myers; they had one son, Tim, who was born on October 25, 1984. They later divorced.
Roger was an Elvis fan growing up; he also later in life enjoyed contemporary Christian music. Roger accepted Christ as his savior when he was in high school. Roger was a member of Berean Bible Church.
Roger's hobbies included playing tennis, disc golf, reading, and watching sports, especially Nebraska football, Kansas City Chiefs football, and Chicago Cubs baseball.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Irene (Pittz) Fox.
