SERVICES HELD FOR ELLA COCHRAN

Mrs. Ella L. Cochran, 86, of Beaverton, died Friday, Nov. 14, at the Clare Osteopathic Hospital following an illness of one month. Born in Jasper on April 19, 1883, she had resided in Gladwin County for the past 68 years. Mrs. Cochran was a life member of the Beaverton O.E.S. No. 386 and the Dale Billings Ladies Aid.
The former Ella Skinner, she was married to Robert B. Cochran on June 19, 1902, in Jasper. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1957. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Velma McKimmy, of Beaverton and Mrs. Goldie Colbeck, of Saginaw; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Rites were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. A.H. Keesler officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 11-12/1969 Column - 7 Page - 1
