SHREVEPORT, LA - Mr. Ricky J. Hayes, 48, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 1999. He was a native of Shreveport and was employed with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office.
Preceding him in death is his son, Randall Shane Hayes and father, Joel Hayes, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Marie Hayes; mother, Audie Hayes; sisters, Shelia Zator and husband, John; Lisa Swaty; granddaughter, Brittany Hayes; nieces, Ashley Zator, Amy Craft; nephew, Casey Craft; fiancee', Carol Hemingway and her children, Kristy, Brandy and D. J. and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Centuries Funeral Home on Friday, May 21, 1999 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Rodney Duron of First Assembly of God Cathedral of Praise in Shreveport. Burial will follow in Centuries Cemetery with Roger Smith, Fred Lewis, Mel Lee, Mike Flores, Wayne Davis and Ervin Reed serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the employees of the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's office.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. at Centuries Funeral Home.
