Cynthia was born to Isabella W. and John C. Artman.
Cyndi was a longtime community volunteer with schools, medical auxiliaries, and Omaha civic organizations. She was President of the Immanuel Medical Auxiliary, the Metro Omaha Medical Society Auxiliary, and the Omaha Symphony Guild.
She was active in the Methodist Hospital VIP, the Junior League, Lauritzen Gardens, and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
Cyndi loved teaching young people, reading books, singing in the choir, and keeping the planet green with flowers and trees.
She was a long-term cancer survivor, fighting multiple cancers and battles, all the while showing compassion and leadership to others. Above all, she was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend.
