He was a retired manufacturing engineer, with most of his career spent at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence, MO. Scott enjoyed reading, American History, watching Jeopardy, weather, and was a super fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
Scott was survived by his children, Nathaniel Beck (Kimberly Downs) of Kansas City, MO, Kelsey Frederick (Thomas) of Chicago, IL, Tara Beck of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Gabriela, Vera; brother, Kevin Beck (Lynn) of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family received friends and family from 2-3:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. A memorial service was at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel on the same day.
