Scott Beck, 66, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 2, 1953 to Calvin and Doris (Murray) Beck in East Liverpool, OH.

Scott received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of West Virginia. He was a retired manufacturing engineer, with most of his career spent at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence, MO. Scott enjoyed reading, American History, watching Jeopardy, weather, and was a super fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.

Scott was survived by his children, Nathaniel Beck (Kimberly Downs) of Kansas City, MO, Kelsey Frederick (Thomas) of Chicago, IL, Tara Beck of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Gabriela, Vera; brother, Kevin Beck (Lynn) of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family received friends and family from 2-3:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. A memorial service was at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel on the same day.
