SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Casey Brooks Taylor, 22, of Shreveport, LA will be conducted at Calvary Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend Steve Gilley. Graveside services will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Centuries Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Casey was preceded in death by his grandmother, Florence Estess Taylor, grandfather, Leland LaFave, great-grandmother, Aline Suggs, and his best friend, Bobby Davis. He is survived by his father, George W. Taylor, Jr. and Jean; mother, Michele Jordan, and husband, Nick; son, Aubrey Brooks Taylor, and his mother, Brandi; brother, Chris Taylor and Lauryn, and her son, Kolby; maternal grandmother, Peggy LaFave, all of Shreveport, LA; paternal grandfather, George W. Taylor, Sr., and wife, Ann, of Keithville, LA; paternal great-grandmother, Ethel W. Taylor, of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Casey was a lifelong resident of Shreveport. He was a member of Local 361 Sheet Metal Workers Union and worked for Shamrock Sheet Metal, LLC. He was an avid hunter and member of Backwoods Hunting Club. Most of all, he was a loving father, son, grandson and brother.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Garcia, Jr., Troy Halton, Rick "Bull" Bullock, Big Ronnie Garcia, Sr., Justin Dickerson, and Gary Oliver. Honorary pallbearers will be John Pruitt, Chad Rinchuso, Dakota Sepulvado, and employees and staff of Shamrock Sheet Metal, LLC.

The family would like to thank Casey's friends for all their support.
