Kelly Joe Jones Sr., born September 20, 1961, passed away May 31, 2019. His was a member of the First Baptist Church in Osceola.
He is preceded in death by his father Morris Van Jones Sr.
His survivors include; his mother Rosemary Jones of Osceola, his son Kelly Joe Jones II of Lepanto, his granddaughter Karmen Jones of Lepanto,
His siblings: Donna Reams (Al), Van Jones (Kaci), his nieces and nephews; Chloe Stover, Logan Jones, Caroline Jones.
He was a graduate of Osceola High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked at Osceola Municipal Light as a lineman.
He was the owner Kelly's Body Shop/Wrecker Service in Osceola and Kelly's Welding Shop in Osceola, until his auto accident in 1999. Then after a years' recovery he obtained his CDL licenses to drive as a long-distance hauler.
His pastime was watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Honestly, he really missed his calling; he could have been a stand-up comedian. We will remember all the jokes and miss his jolly laugh.
