Funeral Service for Delores Jean Jordan, 79, of Breckenridge, MN formally of New Effington, SD will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD with Pat Schubert officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Meyer, Emily Campbell, Adam Campbell, Krystafer Kassahn, Amanda Campbell and Tyler Kassahn. Honorary Pallbearers are all of Delores' granddaughters and great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Delores Jean Jordan, 79, passed away on March 24, 2021, in Wahpeton, ND surrounded by her family.

Delores Jean Yannayon was born February 9, 1942 in Massillon, Ohio to Charles and Jean (Stoner) Yannayon. She was united in marriage to Virgil Kassahn on September 3, 1960 and they made their home on a farm near Wheaton, MN. To this marriage, they welcomed four children. She enjoyed creating many plastic canvas holiday decorations and straw bales for the grandchildren and great grandchildren to use while playing with their toy tractors. She always loved to go for a car ride and a stop at McDonalds. Her favorite drink was an ice cold Pepsi. She married Bill Jordan on February 22, 1986 in New Effington, SD. On the farm in New Effington, they raised cattle and farmed the land. There were many pets and farm animals raised on the farm.

Delores is survived by four children, Jean (Phil) Meyer of Hankinson, ND, Vernon (Della) Kassahn of St. Cloud, MN, Glen Kassahn of Moorhead, MN and Cheryl (Jeremiah) Herding of Wahpeton, ND; three sisters Julie Woods of Washington, Dixie Albert of Minneapolis, MN, Lois Iszler of Montevideo, MN; brother-in-law Robert Jordan of New Effington, SD; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill Jordan; one sister Anna Krause; brother-in-law Terry Iszler. .
