Sandra Shermane Meeks, 70, of Parkersburg, went to Heaven June 2, 2019. She was born January 9, 1949 in Faimont, WV, the daughter of the Late Raymond E. Boyles Sr. and Wanda P. Boyles.
Sandra was a charter member of Hope Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her family, singing gospel songs, and playing guitar.
She is survived by her children, Angela Barker (David) of Belleville, WV and Donnie Meeks of Parkersburg, WV, grandchildren, Sydney and Joshua Ankrom of Parkersburg, WV and Brad Meeks of Parkersburg, WV, two brothers, Raymond E. Boyles Jr. of Parkersburg, WV and Roger Boyles of Lincolnton, NC. Four sisters, Joyce Casto, Sharon Parsons and Tina Bollinger of Parkersburg, WV and Jackie Boyles of Blacksburg, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Everett, and John Boyles and one sister, Susan Lynn Boyles.
Services will be Wednesday 11:00 AM at Hope Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Bud Corbin officiating. Interment will follow at Skidmore Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the church.
