Son of the late Harvey Lee Davis and Aileen Crisp Kinzy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loraine Davis and his daughter, Luann Davis Williams. He worked for the Georgia Department of Labor. He was amember of The Rising Star Masonic Lodge #4 for 50 plus years where he served for over 30 years as secretary. He was also a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, Margery Knowles of Eatonton, Buck (Eleanor) Barber of Alpharetta, Lee Davis, Jr. of Eatonton, and Derrick (Mary Ann) Hulsey of Brunswick; grandchildren, Missy (Aaron) Maune, Julie (Pat) Holder, Laura (Mark) Cheshire, Kerry (Chris) Puckett, Hayden Barber, Katie (J.P) Stewart, Larry Barber, Chip (Tricia) Barber, Jordan Davis, Jimbo (Ashley) Williams, Jerry (Cindy) Williams, and Jay (Kristi) Williams, and 27 great grandchildren.
