Sarah "Pauline" Myers-Stewart, 84, of Matheny, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday June 2, 2019 at Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation, New Richmond, WV. Pauline was a member of the Matheny United Methodist Church.
She was born on May 17, 1935 in Newport, TN a daughter of the late John Thelma Myers (Deceased) and Beatrice Corn-Myers (Deceased). In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Charles Stewart Jr. (1926-Deceased) whom she married on December 18, 1952 in Hatcher, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1952, Page 247, Application Date: December 13, 1952); a son, Donny Eugene Stewart (1958-Deceased); three sisters, Elsie "Juanita" Myers-Wingler (1933-2006), Faye J. Myers-Bailey (1937-2016), and Rosie Myers; three brothers, Boyd Myers (Deceased), Joseph Myers (Deceased), and Danny Myers (Deceased); two grandchildren, Bradley Stewart (Deceased) and Cody Austin Stewart (1988-2018).
Survivors include three sons Steve Stewart of Matheny, Tommy Stewart & wife Debbie Stewart of Rockview and Kenneth Stewart & wife Maggie Stewart of Mullensville; two sisters Carol Myers-Vaught & husband Skipper Vaught of Cleveland, OH and Mary Myers-Legg & husband Fred Legg of Red House, WV; three brothers, Johnny Myers & wife Bertha Myers of Goldsboro NC, Charles Myers & wife Gloria Myers of Surveyor, and Virgil Myers & wife Beulah Myers of Clear Fork; three grandchildren, Christy Steele & husband Brian Steele, Virgil Stewart and Adam Stewart; four great grandchildren, Sadie Stewart, Shea Stewart, Colton Steele and Candice Toler; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be heldat 1:00 PM on Friday June 7, 2019 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
