Donald Lee Moss, age 90, of Lamar, Missouri passed away May 21, 2019, at his home in Lamar, MO.

Don was born April 5, 1929 in Belton, MO to Dorrel Porter and Mable Pauline (Morris) Moss. After graduating from High School, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He attended what is now Pittsburg State University for three years and received certification in the electrical trades. On March 08, 1956, Donald married Mildred L. Whitchurch in Lamar, MO.

Don worked in maintenance at Castelgate Inc. in Pittsburg, KS as well as other manufacturing facilities. He had also worked at Lawn Boy in Lamar and was part of the Barton County Bass Masters and also enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include a son Darrell (Cheri) Moss, Lamar, MO; three daughters Linda (Leon) Bishop, Lockwood, MO, Karen (Hank) Gioia, Kansas City, MO, Earline (Vern) Hart, Mulberry, KS; 11 grandchildren, Kent (Kristen) Bishop, Jared (Lela) Bishop, Tara (Phil) Williams, Jon (Ali) Bishop, Jenna (Paul) Folbre, Chelsea (Justin) Dighero, Terri (Chuck) Green, Jill Willoughby, Justin, (Liz) Hart, Jeff Horton, Tiffany (James) Bowden; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Preceding Don in death were his parents, his wife Mildred in 2000, a daughter, Teresa Dickinson, a great-grandson, Jeremy Willoughby, and a brother, Lyle Moss.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m, Wednesday, May 29 2019 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Morehead Cemetery.
