Jeanette R. Williams, 84, of Marshall, died on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Oaklawn Hospital. Jeanette was born on November 3, 1934, in Marshall, to Louis and Bertha (Cole) Pervine. She graduated from Augusta High School in 1953 and attend Kellogg Community College.

Jeanette worked for Stouffer’s Hotel in Battle Creek for 14 years. She retired in 1994 due to illness. She was a member of Battle Creek Friends Church. She enjoyed volunteering at the church and helping in the church office. Jean also enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and spending time with her family, especially time with her granddaughters.

She is survived by her children, Scott Williams, Susan Williams, and Sandra Williams; two grandchildren; and siblings, Marion Nostrant and Frances Pervine. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Louis Pervine, Jr. and Lynn Pervine.

Family will greet friends on Friday, June 7, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Marshall Chapel of the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US 27 North. Funeral services celebrating her life will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Marshall Chapel of the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, with Pastor Kelly Hadlich officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
