Kevin graduated high school in 1971 in Davis, CA. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.
Kevin had moved to Whiting about a month ago from Wichita, KS, where he had lived since 1979. He worked for Spirit AeroSystems where he was a structures mechanic on 787 Jets for 7 years. He retired in 2018. Kevin was a member of Anchor Church of God in Wichita.
He was married to Gina Marie Torney on August 24, 1980 in Wichita, KS. She survives. Kevin is also survived by his daughters, Jennifer Bell of Wichita, KS and Kelli Smith (Will) of Perry, OK; his step-son, John Landrum (Destiny) of Wichita, KS; his step-daughter, Christa Montgomery (Seth) of Whiting, KS; his sisters, Mary Ellen Martindale of Reno, NV and Jennifer Rodriquez of Australia; his brothers, Pat Bell of Sacramento, CA, Chris Bell of Redding, CA, Joe Bell of Reno, NV and Brian Bell of Phoenix, AZ; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be in Wichita at a later date. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is assisting the family. Memorials may be given to the Heartland Hospice of Topeka c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
