"Laura Church, 76, 275 N Third St, Indiana, Pa, died Friday, Sept 10, 1982, at the Indiana Hospital. She was born Sept 17, 1905, in Titusville, a daughter of Charles R and Mary Patterson Church. Miss Church had been a resident of Indiana since 1928. She taught in the Indiana Area School District from 1928 until her retirement in 1967. Miss Church was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1923, and attended Randolph-Macon Women's College. She received her BA degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, and her MA degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, in guidance and personnel in 1939. Miss Church also did graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh. She was active in the affairs of the Indiana Area School District. Miss Church is survived by a sister, Mary Church, of Indiana; three brothers, Charles R Church, Jr, of Houston, Texas, Gilbert P Church and W Neill Church of Wilmington, Del; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John F Church. A memorial service will be held in the Calvary United Presbyterian Church, Indiana, at the convenience of the family."
