Shirley J. Hoover passed away peacefully on 05.30.2019, with her son and daughter in law by her side. Shirley was born on 03.31.1935 to the late Milton and Lyla (Hetrick) Depner. Shirley lived in Oak Harbor, OH until 1997, and was a very active member at St. John’s Lutheran Church, enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family, friends and taking long walks with her dog Max. Shirley moved to The Villages, Florida in 1997, where she enjoyed playing pickle ball, rollerblading, reading, spending time with her puppy Kooper and gathering at the pool with a special group of friends.

Shirley enjoyed spending time with her honorary grandchildren Connor Blatt and Taylor Blatt, who brought so much joy to her and always kept her smiling and laughing. She will forever be close at heart and never forgotten.

She is survived by son Jay (Lisa Reynolds) Hoover; daughters April Perkey and Jill (Joe) Allen; grandchildren Keith Dickens, Brian Dickens, Kandall Perkey, Raegan Perkey, Danielle Rance, Michael Cancellari, and Lyla Cancellari; great-grandchildren Alayna Dickens, Aaliyah Cancellari, and Malachi Owens; and brother Ronald Depner. She is preceded in death by sister-in-law Pat Depner.
