Gregory A. “Greg” Collier, 68 years of age passed away on June 1, 2019 in New Albany, Indiana. He was born October 5, 1950 in New Albany to the late Robert “Bobby” and Irene Collier.
He was a graduate of Silver Creek High School in Sellersburg. Greg worked for the State of Indiana as an Insurance Auditor and was the previous owner of the Borden Tavern as well as Evan’s Restaurant in Sellersburg. He loved his dogs Rufus and Patches and his many other pets over the years.
Greg is survived by his loving partner, Jane Wiseman, beloved son, Gregory Evan Collier, sister, Dianne Koch, 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Greg’s family would like to express a special thanks to his loving caregivers, Joann, Kate, and Carol as well as the nurses and staff at Baptist Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
