Loren T. O'Dell, 101, of Flora, died at 11:50 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Visitation was held graveside from 9:30 to 10 a.m. today at Dillman Cemetery in rural Louisville. Graveside funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today at the cemetery.

Mr. O'Dell was born September 18, 1905, in Clay County, the son of Sidney S. and Minnie (Tolliver) O'Dell. He married Lenora Grace O'Dell. She preceded him in death. He married Thelma O'Dell and she survives.

He was a farmer and a member of Farm Bureau and Hoosier Prairie Baptist Church.

Mr. O'Dell is survived by his wife, Thelma O'Dell, of Flora; sons, Donald O'Dell, of Clay City, and Larry (Susan) O'Dell, of Olney; daughter, Doris Chandler, of Woodburn, Ind.; stepson, Dale Smith, of Florida; stepdaughter, Phyllis Sinclair, of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hoosier Prairie Baptist Church.
