Sally was born to parents Fred and Georgia Rael Jaure (Abeyta) on October 31, 1942 in Rawlins. She was a lifelong and proud Rawlins resident who worked in the accounting department of the Sinclair Refinery. She retired on January 4, 2010 after holding that position for 37 years. She married Terry Allen on December 20, 1975. Terry preceded Sally in death on February 16, 1998.
Sally had a variety of interests: baking, cooking, crafts, needlework, antiques, and shopping... just to name a few.
In addition to her husband, Sally was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
Surviving Sally are two brothers, John and Samuel Jaure; and two sisters, Jeannie Yurkiewicz and Catherine Eck. In addition, she is survived by 18 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews, and 15 great-great nieces and nephews. Sally had many friends and will be sadly missed, but remembered often and with much love.
A Vigil Service to include Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, June 9, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Jacoby Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow on June 10, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rawlins. Father Sam Hayes will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Rawlins cemetery.
