Jimmy Leon Bishop 72, of Enos, Oklahoma better known as Leon passed from this life on earth to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at TMC in Denison, Texas. Leon was born December 20, 1946 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Ocial James "Tooter" Bishop and Odessa Page Bishop. He attended Kingston schools and spent his entire life in Enos. Leon married Suzanne Nelson on April 8, 1966 at the Enos Baptist Church and they spent over 53 years together. They raised 4 children; Jimmy, Jamie, Jason and Cynthia. A farmer which we just heard fits Leon to a tee, because that was just him. Leon was a simple man that loved his wife and family dearly. He grew up on the farm and continued that the rest of his days. Leon worked hard all his life, farming and ranching was what he loved and wouldn't had been happy doing anything else. He raised peanuts for over 40 years before retiring and continued to bail hay and raise cattle. Leon and Suzanne spent all their years together farming, ranching and raising their children and you seldom would see them apart. Leon's health declined the last few months and he passed with his family by his side and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and community. He was a member of the Marshall County Antique Iron Club and enjoyed tinkering with his many tractors. Leon enjoyed farming, ranching and most of all his family and 2 great grandchildren.
