Kathryn Jean "Jeanie" Wyatt Stevens, 59, died on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Jeanie was born in Haywood County on May 25, 1958, to the late Luther and Mary Gunn Wyatt. Jeanie enjoyed drawing, painting, cooking and watching the cooking channel. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Jeanie never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Stevens.

Jeanie is survived by her son Thad Stevens (Anna); a brother, Kenny Wyatt (Jeanette); sisters Mary Emma Wyatt and Angie Hines (Brad Justice); and her granddog, Bruiser.

The family invites guests to a drop in celebration of Jeanie's love of life and community. The Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 3 to 5 pm at the Bi-Lo Picnic Pavilion at the Waynesville Recreation Park on Marshall St.
