Bob Allen Smith, 81 of Houston, Texas passed away at his home on Thursday, May 30, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 6, 1938 in Houston, Texas to O'Dell and Thelma (Grothe) Smith. He was a hard working heavy equipment operator for over 30 years, a family man who loved to go hunting and fishing whenever he was able and to travel with the family.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Waller Smith; daughter, Annette Crowson and husband, Paul; sons, Bob Allen Smith, Jr. and wife, Jamie; Wesley Smith and wife, Ruth and Bradley Smith; grandchildren, Johnny Perez and wife, Stacey, Brandon Crowson and wife, Amy, Mallory Phipps, Laura Crowson, Allen Smith, Zachary Crowson and wife, Michelle, Summer Crowson, Kyle Smith and wife, Jasmine, Hunter Smith and wife, Karol, Tyler Smith and Kierstyn Smith along with great-grandchildren, Liberty Atkinson, Adelynn Crowson, Jackson Merwin, Weston Smith, Ellie Merwin, Keller Crowson, Xaige Smith and Scarlett Perez. He is also survived by his brother, Gary Smith and wife, Sue and sister, Randa Tadlock and husband, Tommy.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Arnold Floyd Smith and Lynette Janis Smith.
